Space collection boxes Bottega Veneta

 Creative director of the fashion house Bottega Veneta Thomas Mayer, together with artist Nancy Lorenz released an amazing collection of boxes, boxes with abstract and very atmospheric images of the sky. The collection will be presented at the Milan Design Week Salone del Mobile (9-14 April), but now you can see only photos.

Nancy Lorenz - American artist-abstraktsionistka, and this is the third of its collaboration with fashion house Bottega Veneta. This year, she has created 25 images of the sky and space. Nancy has done the hard work, at the same time using different materials: silver, black silver, palladium, mother of pearl, white gold and gold leaf. By applying to the surface of the plate layer upon layer of nacre and paint, she was able to cover unusual and small cracks that mimic the texture of complex abstract sky. The collection is called "Skies and Beyond" («Heaven and what is outside).

Plates with pictures of Nancy will be gracing the cover 25 wooden boxes, boxes, covered with leather or suede in different shades. All of them will be on display at the Salone del Mobile, after which they can be purchased through representatives Bottega Veneta and costs $ 6400.
