IKEA PS(Ps - postscriptum) includes 36 designer goods, from tables and chairs to pillows and sconces. In short, IKEA has updated its range of almost all sections. 19 designers to create new objects inspired by archival photographs of the interiors and furniture of the past years of the company.
Each designer has created some kind of a piece of furniture or accessory, based on existing products, making them more modern and functional. For example, Anna Eferlund noticed that a lot of plates in the production goes to the marriage because of subtle glaze chips, and decided to experiment - inflicted on the plate a few drops of paint. And there was a new idea for the series. Designer Jon Karlsson created a rack, which is suitable for adults and children. And his brother, Nike came up with a sofa with a light tubular structure like the one that occurred in the 70s. Lisa Nurinder inspired chairs, created by her father 30 years ago, and optimize them for easy stacking and storage.
Requirements that IKEA imposes on all its products, have remained the same: functionality, ecological materials, quality and affordable prices.
