The first written mention of this type of clothing is dated 1654 year. Boyars and noblemen used Perizzites as ceremonial dress and put it on top coats. The decree of December 19, 1860 in Moscow nobility, the boyars, clerks, as well as near and dumnyi people had to be at court dressed in Perizzites. It was made of expensive materials, and lined with fur.
