Potassium diet

 This diet is used to treat hypertension or heart failure. It includes potassium-rich foods are eliminated salt and extractives of meat and fish and the limited amount of free fluid.

Food intake should be 6 times a day. Diet includes four consecutive ration each of which provides the intake of 6-7 g of potassium (diets I-II - 1-2 days, III-IV - 2-3 days).

1-2 days

1st breakfast: baked potatoes - 200 g, coffee with milk substitute - 180 g
2nd Breakfast: juice from fresh cabbage or carrots - 100 g
Lunch: soup, mashed potatoes - 200 grams, mashed carrot - 100 g fruit jelly.
Snack: broth hips - 100 g
Dinner: mashed potatoes - 300 grams, broth hips - 100 g
At night: juice Fruit - 100 g

3-4 days

1st breakfast: baked potatoes - 200 g, coffee with milk substitute - 180 g
2nd breakfast: millet porridge - 150 grams, cabbage or carrot juice - 100 g
Lunch: soup of cabbage and potatoes - 200 g, burgers, potato - 200 g fruit jelly.
Snack: broth hips - 100 g
Dinner: pilaf rice with fruit - 150 g, broth hips - 100 g
At night: juice Fruit - 100 g

5-7 days

1st Breakfast: milk millet porridge with dried fruit - 200 g, coffee with milk substitute - 180 g
2nd breakfast: mashed potatoes - 200 g, cabbage or carrot juice - 100 g
Lunch: soup oatmeal with vegetables - 250 g, chops carrot - 150 g, compote of dried fruits - 180 g
Snack: broth hips - 100 g
Dinner: boiled fish - 55 g, mashed potatoes - 200 grams, tea with milk - 180 g
At night: juice Fruit - 100 g

8-10 days

1st zatrak: fresh vegetable salad - 150 g buckwheat groats milk - 200 g, coffee with milk substitute - 180 g
2nd breakfast: raisins (dried apricots) soaked - 100 g, cabbage or carrot juice - 100 g
Lunch: soup vegetarian potato - 400 g, pilaf of boiled meat with rice - 55/180 g, compote of dried fruits - 180 g
Lunch: baked apples - 100 g
Dinner: boiled meat - 55 grams, potato patties - 200 grams, tea with milk - 180 g
At night: juice Fruit - 100 g

2, 3 and 4 given diets respectively 50, 100 and 200 g of salt-free wheat grain diet for 4 - 30 g sugar.
