Finnish diet

 Diet was developed by order of the Government of Finland for overweight people.

Smooth weight reduction is achieved by eliminating from the diet of high-calorie foods with animal fat and sugar. Limit the use of salt. Great emphasis is placed on seafood. It is recommended to drink at least 2 liters per day.

The basis of the diet - soup. Diet - 4 or 5 times a day.

Soup recipe: Onion (500g), celery (300 g), carrots (250 g), cabbage (250 g), parsley (250 g), leek (200 g), cauliflower (200 g), garlic ( 1 head), tomato juice (1 cup), black pepper, basil, tarragon (to taste). Vegetables wash, chop, add water and cook until tender. Then make them mashed potatoes, add the tomato juice and spices and cook for another 10 minutes.

An exemplary menu for one day:

1st breakfast - soup, porridge with milk (2 tbsp. Spoons), fruit juice.
2nd breakfast - soup, fresh fruit.
Lunch - fish soup, a piece of boiled chicken, salad greens, or grated carrots, fruit juice.
Dinner - soup, roast lean meat, buckwheat porridge, fruit salad with yogurt.
At night - a glass of warm milk.

Forbidden foods: animal fats, bread, pasta, rice, sweets, smoked products, canned food.

Recommended products: any vegetables, cereals (barley, buckwheat, oats), lean meats, fish, low-fat milk, dairy products, low fat cottage cheese, fruit, tea and coffee without sugar, fruit juices, mineral water.
