Elastomers

 Elastomers - a term denoting any polymers having elastomeric properties. Also elastomer called any elastic material capable of stretching to a size greater than their own dozens of times, and then return to its original state at the termination of external influence. Typical examples are a variety of elastomers and rubber. These polymers play an important role in industry.
