Plahtiy - part of the Ukrainian women's national costume, skirt with a smell, consisting of two panels. Plahtiy puts on his shirt so that part was stitched in the center and covered apron, and swing freely hanging from the sides. Waist skirt was recorded with long laces.
Most often plakhta were made of various woolen fabric with a pattern of symmetrical squares, diamonds, rosettes or stars, separated by strips.
