 Patti - leather or wooden sandals, which are widespread in Europe during the XII and XIX centuries. They were intended to protect shoes from dirt and moisture. There are three types of Patten:
• at high (up to 4 inches) or small wooden platform-legged supports made of wood or metal;
• on a flat bendy wooden sole,
• flat leather soles sewn of several layers. Sometimes placed inside a thin wooden section.
Patti worn not only on the street, but also in the room as stone floors in the winter was cold.
