Ryazan lace - a truly unique phenomenon in Russian arts and crafts. Famed not only for the country but also abroad, this folk craft has become a real bright spot in the entire history of lace in Russia. The fact that the Ryazan lace, in particular, the Mikhailovsky (city name Mikhailova Ryazan province) was the only colored lace. The main color is red lace, its perfectly complement the yellow, green and blue colors. However, the classic white lace also occur.
Not only the color of the Ryazan lace stands out among the others.
