Boutonniere - is one or more of fresh flowers (buds) or even a bunch who pinned to a male or female clothes and accessories for this (cone, magnet or a special pin, leaves no residue on the fabric). Even in ancient Greece, men wore a flower on his chest - not only for beauty, but for protection from evil spirits. As flowers symbolize love, they are often attached with their hands of the bride, darling. Later medieval knights hiding a gift from his lovely ladies under armor, pinning him closer to the heart. Boutonnieres were red carnations in their buttonholes nobles during the French Revolution, and later - the participants of the socialist movement in the middle of the XIX century. Later "political" boutonnieres simplified to red rag bows. In our time, this accessory rather festive, especially popular in the costume of the groom, witnesses and wedding guests. Flowers in the boutonniere should be combined with a bouquet of the bride, and after marriage they can be left on the memory and store.
