Valentino haute couture collection this year is definitely homage to the old architectural tradition, monumental, detailed and very refined. Like a colossus, models were on the runway in dense and therefore inexpressibly plastic long dresses, embellished patterned cape. Patterns, much less simple and refer to the old cast-iron fence at the gate of registered estates or temples. Those chaste look and feel of the image. Trying to get rid of the stone gravity dresses, designers decorated them rather than as plaster sculptures, and marzipan cakes. And, of course, again, the main decoration couture dresses - elaborately embroidered flowers and delicate lace.
