Trilby (Trilby) - a soft male headdress hat with short fields for which there are three Tuglie dents: one large and two small top front. Because of these dents and determined manner to remove the hat: three fingers (thumb, index and middle). Name hats appeared thanks to the novel "Trilby" by George de Maurier, written in 1894 and later adapted for the stage. His main character, Irish singer Trilby, wore a hat exactly this style.
