Rogatywka

 Rogatywka - the name of the headgear in the Polish army (with quadrangular crown) and in the US Marine Corps (with an octagonal crown). It is believed that the Polish uniforms Rogatywka dates back to the end of the XVIII century, from the national men's headdress. First Rogatywka looked like caps with four faces without a visor and edging of fur, with a tassel on top, patterned hats Confederates. Rogatywka often referred to as a headdress, part of academic dress: flat square, covered with velvet or black cloth with a brush attached to the head fitting beanie or low cylinder.
