Duffle coat - a jacket-coat straight silhouette of thick coarse wool with invoice basque hood and original buttons "walrus tusk" - a wooden or bone sticks.
Jacket gets its name from the word "dafl" - so in the 17th century called rough cloth of camel's hair, from which in Norway, Denmark and Sweden sewed clothes for fishermen. This material was produced in the Belgian city Dafl. In 1890 started using cloth and British tailors - then came the first Duffle coat. Over the decades, the appearance of the coat has not changed. In addition to the fastener is considered the hallmark Duffle coat lining in the cell plaid.
