 Kalses - an element of traditional Spanish dress, small pants, usually worn on top of the stocking. View kalses varied from age to age: in the XV century, they were sewn with double lining, stuffed with down, wool or other materials, and they usually have a length to mid-thigh; cut in the XVII century became freer, and the length increased almost to his knees. To decorate kalses often sewed some buttons on the sides and trimmed their vertical stripes decorative fabric. Since the XIX century, their appearance once again changed: now more kalses slim cut, they are put on the matadors and bullfighters to exit the arena.
