Cylinders of the XIX century on the heads of the models present on par with inlaid crystal mesh caps from the beginning of XX. Under the coats Gaultier boldly puts metal corsets. And the aesthetics of the 20s of the last century, the era of girls crackers with fur boas and ribbons across the forehead coexist in this collection with geometric Art Deco and reinforced forms. Gauthier mix everything so much into one that even women in men's suits difficult to distinguish men in elegant dress (take exit Andrew Pejic). From this collection came out even more androgynous.
General gloom colors and uncompromising views of models with black smoky makeup on the eyes - it is also an allusion to the film noir fashion designer. There is no shame in eclecticism, says Jean Paul Gaultier, it can only be a luxury.
