About 3000 films are due for release in the Venice Film Festival this year. However, in the main program involved a total of 18 films from all over the world. Russia will be represented by paintings by Kirill Serebrennikov (his "treason" in the main competition), Aleksei Balabanov ("I want" in the "Horizons") and Love Arkus ("Anton's Right Here"). Open Film Festival has stood the honor of Mira Nair's film "reluctant fundamentalist" with Kate Hudson and Liev Schreiber.
