Throughout life: Shi Shaopenya installation of thousands of eggs

 Chinese artist brings to life the wilderness: thousands of eggs decorated desolate expanses of the country.
Project Metamorphosis: Eggs artist Shi Shaopenya, who took a year of his life and cost him 15 kg of weight, appeared, and continues to sound weird. In response to concerns about the possibility to carry it out in due time, he quoted the words of Einstein, who thought: the idea of ​​not apparent at the beginning of the insane, do not pin their hopes. Shi Shaopen not one of those who retreats. He has successfully implemented the project, which included 30 000 ceramic eggs, a series of installations, photographs and videos.
The total weight of more than 48 tons of sculptures, one year they changed the 6 locations. First Shi Shaopen is a huge ceramic eggs on the coast of Beihai, were then Gansu, Gobi desert, dunes of Dunhuang, meadows Gannan County, and became a refuge for their final exhibition hall in Beijing.
The artist chose the most abandoned places of China. Amazingly, in each landscape ceramic eggs looked a completely new way. While all of this still was a lot of thinking about a new life, its place in the world, hope and destiny.
