Slippers originally Slavs called leather shoes. In what follows, Slippers began to understand women's shoes with heels with pointed toes. Slippers could be working as leather shoes and decorated along the rich ladies. In the latter case, it was the lowest close pointy boots with high heels, decorated with beads, sequins, lace and other materials. The word "slippers" is currently used in the Ukrainian language and literally translates as "shoes".
